Acupuncture for Tennis Elbow

Acupuncture for Tennis Elbow

Tennis elbow (golfer’s elbow, medical epicondylitis) is an inflammation of the muscles and tendons of the forearm.

How does acupuncture work for Tennis Elbow?

Acupuncture increases blood flow to the tennis elbow area to improve the delivery of nutrients and immune cells that repair and heal the muscles and tendons of inflammation. Acupuncture can stimulate lymphatic flow as well, this helps reduce swelling, pain and remove the chemicals that cause inflammation

Course of treatment

There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
