Acupuncture for ADHD

Acupuncture for ADHD

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common behavioral conditions among children. ADHD is a condition of the brain that makes it difficult to concentrate or control impulsive behavior.

How does acupuncture work for ADHD?

Acupuncture can balance brain chemistry to help the body restore balance, treating the root of the disorder, while also diminishing the symptoms of ADHD. Acupuncture improves focus and concentration; reduces fidgeting; lowers hyperactivity; augment mood management.

Course of treatment

There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
