Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrows (SIBO)

Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is a condition in which very large numbers of bacteria grow in the small intestine. The most common symptoms are: abdominal fullness, pain and cramps; bloating; diarrhea (usually watery) or gassiness. Conditions that can lead to overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine include: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS); Diverticulosis; Crohn disease; complications of diseases or surgery that create pouches or blockages in the small intestine etc.

How does acupuncture work for SIBO?
