Low blood sugar is called hypoglycemia. A blood sugar level below 70 mg/dL is low and can harm you.
Realizing your blood sugar is getting low when you have symptoms such as: weakness or feeling tired, shaking, sweating, hunger, feeling uneasy, nervous, or anxious or cranky, trouble thinking clearly, fast or pounding heartbeat, double or blurry vision or headache. If the blood sugar gets too low, may have faint, seizure, or go into a coma.
