Chronic bronchitis is a type of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Symptoms may include wheezing and shortness of breath.

How does acupuncture work for Bronchitis?

Acupuncture builds up one’s resistance to virus and bacteria; Decreases reactivity to the irritability of physical and chemical factors, and to inflammation from allergens; Lessens the congestion, swelling of bronchial mucosa; Reduces the inflammation secretions as well as improving the removal of these inflammatory chemicals and speeding the recovery of the structure and function of bronchial mucosa.

Course of treatment

There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
