Acupuncture for Confusion

Acupuncture for Confusion

Confusion is the inability to think as clearly or quickly as you normally do. You may feel disoriented and have difficulty paying attention, remembering, and making decisions. Confusion is most related a part of aging. It may be associated with delirium or dementia.

How does acupuncture work for Confusion?

Acupuncture helps preserve and promote our brainpower and hold on to a quick and sharp mind as we get older. Scientists are finding exciting new evidence of the brain’s tremendous capacity to repair itself. No matter how old you are, the brain can modify its structure, staving off age related decline. When one network of neurons dies, the brain can sprout brand-new connections and create another network. Acupuncture also treat other causes of confusion, such as: aluminum toxicity, anemia, anxiety, brain injury or tumor, depression, fatigue, stroke, hypoglycemia, Lyme disease, sleep apnea etc.

Course of treatment

There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
