How does acupuncture work for Abdominal Pain?

Acupuncture is effective in treating abdominal pain which is recommended by World Health Organization (WHO). Furthermore, based on a study published in the Journal of Chinese Medicine, acupuncture has been shown to provide overwhelmingly effective in relief for abdominal pain, the effect rate as high as 95.12%. The study found acupuncture promotes digestion, moves the energy to prevent constipation, and other factors that might cause pain.

Course of treatment

There are 10-15 acupuncture sessions in one course of treatment. Treatment frequency depends on individual condition. Chinese herbs work synergistically with acupuncture.
